Since 1985, D.W. Story & Associates, Inc. has aimed to provide the best service possible, focusing on cutting-edge technology and the best talent in the industry. We're proud to be one of the oldest companies in subrogation and commercial recovery, recognized as a leader in this ever-changing field.
Back in 1985, we started upgrading our computer systems and were chosen for a groundbreaking pilot program with a major self-insurer. This program introduced the concept of paperless subrogation and commercial processing. Today, many successful insurers and self-insurers benefit from the innovative ideas and efforts that began with the people at D.W. Story.

From the start, we knew that people were key to our success. So, we surrounded ourselves with qualified, well-trained, and motivated Licensed Insurance Adjusters and Commercial Collectors. Many of our first employees are still with us today.
Our team have backgrounds in insurance and commercial knowledge, along with valuable experience in the commercial collections field. With over 1,000 clients from various backgrounds (Tractor-Trailer, Automobile, Self-Insured, Freight, Employee Losses, and Deductibles), we constantly review multiple claim scenarios and tackle problem-solving issues related to Insurance-Subrogation-Commercial-Collections.
Our supervisors have an average of 25 years of experience in the subrogation and commercial collections industry, and our collector adjusters average over 10 years. We also continue attracting quality personnel due to having the industry's highest salaries and best work environment available.
